most professors allow you to bring your own notes into the test and most tests are open note/open book which is more tricky than you would think.
because we are all graded against one another, it really forces you to understand the tiny intricacies and explain it better than the person next to you.
in family law, for the first time in a class, we talked about guidelines to being a lawyer in that particular field.
well we were lagging behind and so he skipped a bunch of topics in the field of law - like confidentiality and good faith interest....
yea - we jumped right into "how do you get paid" and "don't have sex with clients"
