well things have been going pretty slowly lately.

i just haven't been feeling well for some reason.

but its time to kick it into gear.

today i did some reading for family law.

My professor for the class is Professor Oldham, who assigned a casebook written by Professor Oldham, that references an article written by Professor Oldham, that quotes Professor Oldham.  this is all a little excessive and only happens in law school i swear.

how do you gain any sort of credibility by referencing yourself?!

i turned in my first draft of my big scholarly article this week - i may have already told you that, i can't remember.

it was pretty terrible, but I'm glad its done.

today we had an arbitration at school - which is basically all the law students standing around drinking and eating for free. we had torchys tacos! om nom nom nom

in the next 10 minutes i have to go listen to this speaker that flew in from vanderbilt to talk to my journal for the evening.  we have to go. its the only reason I'm still up at school at 7.....ill be here til 8:30 actually. ::yawn::

i did get to hang out with some of the editors of the journal for a bit - who decide my fate for the next year.  they are all so nice so it was a good time spent waiting around.

off to listen to someone important talk about something i don't know about.
